Does the plugin handle variations?
No, the plugin does not support variations because a bookable product is a different type of product. Therefore they cannot be both bookable and variable.
Yet, being this a wide plugin, you will have different alternatives to the use of standard variations. For example you have a different availability for 2 different rooms (Standard and Suite), you need to create 2 different bookable products so when a user books Standard room, the Suite room will still be available.
In other cases, you can use the “Resources” and set up a specific availability for each resource that will be merged with the product availability. What's very useful is that resources can be shared among multiple products and their availability will always be correctly updated. For example, you can select the trainer in a fitness session and so on.
In other cases, you can use “Services”. By creating a bookable product for the rooms and adding services, for example, services for breakfast, lunch and dinner that can be selected by users during the booking (you can also set an additional price for them). Also, using Persons is another option if you want to have a room for 1 guest or 2 or 3 guests etc.

Is there a way to sort questions from newest to oldest?
Yes, by default, questions are sorted from the newest to the oldest, so no problem at all.

How are return requests handled for orders shipped to people who purchased as guests?

The plugin uses the post ID to make sure the code generated is univocal. However, it is possible to use a filter and change the code. Please note that by using a random value, there might be conflicts with other products, so we usually recommend using a value to use as a starting point and then add up the ID to keep generating a univocal code. For example, you can generate barcodes with the value set as 5555+ID to get 5556 -> 5557 -> etc.

The plugin can also apply fraud checks before submitting the checkout. The order is immediately canceled only when detecting a high-risk level.
The plugin appears to run a cron job every five minutes. Is that time frame necessary?
The cron job is necessary to run every five minutes for the PayPal check. The plugin needs the payment information that is sent by PayPal through IPN. It may happen that this IPN is not received immediately. So running the cron every 5 minutes is needed to not let these orders be on hold at a later time.

No, it does not. However, the plugin has an option through which it sends an email to the administrator that includes the anti-fraud test results. This email is generated for each order checked and is sent separately.
Can you set a price maximum?
There are two options to set the maximum price: 1) the order amount is calculated by a multiplier, that is, you can allow the order to exceed the average for a specific number of times. For example, if the order average amount is $500 and you set the multiplier as 2, the system will notify the risk when the order exceeds $1000. 2) You can set a maximum order amount not to be exceeded.
What is the risk threshold feature?
It is the risk percentage of the order generated based on the results of the anti-fraud check.
How does the plugin work with pending orders? Does it stop the process and the client has to go online again and go through with the payment after the approval?
The plugin applies its controls at the end of the payment process. If something wrong happens on the gateway, it doesn't apply any action. The controls occur when the payment goes through and it stops the order in case of possible risk of fraud.
